Indiana Massage Parlor Attorney
Listen

Marion, Indiana-The Marion Police Department recently concluded an investigation into local massage parlors following complaints from community members. The investigation, conducted with the assistance of the Indiana State Police, uncovered illegal activities at three massage parlor locations in Marion:

  • Dream Spa (1900 W. Kem Road)
  • Flower Massage (3403 S. Western Avenue)
  • Tranquility Massage (203 E. 33rd Street)

According to law enforcement, undercover detectives were solicited for sexual acts in exchange for payment at all three locations. Police believe the businesses were performing standard massage services and then offering illegal activities for additional cash. Based on their findings, search warrants were carried out on January 1.

Arrests and Charges

The investigation resulted in the arrests of four individuals, all charged with one count of prostitution, which is classified as a Class A misdemeanor in Indiana. Those charged include:

  • Shan Yang, 47, of Jonesboro
  • Zeng Ruiying, 61, of Marion
  • Lijuan Kong, 54, of Marion
  • Rong Huang, 50, of Marion

Individuals convicted of a Class A misdemeanor face penalties of up to one year in jail and fines of up to $5,000. All the arrested individuals were booked into the Grant County Jail.
