Celebrating another Victory in the Indiana Court of Appeals!

Indianapolis-We are thrilled to announce that Attorney Audrey Lunsford from the Law Office of Mark Nicholson has achieved another significant legal victory. The Indiana Court of Appeals has overturned a trial court's denial, allowing our client—a courageous domestic violence victim—the ability to move out of state and away from her abuser.

The Court Decision

This decision is not just a win for our client; it is a testament to the dedication and expertise of Attorney Audrey Lunsford and our entire team. The appellate court recognized that the trial court's ruling was clearly erroneous, underscoring the importance of relentless legal support for those in vulnerable situations.

At the Law Office of Mark Nicholson, we strive to protect and empower our clients, ensuring that justice prevails.

Why is Indiana criminal defense and personal injury attorney Mark Nicholson called the Battery Man? Because his first criminal jury trial was a battery case. The case was called the Big Buford Battery case. They charged his client with throwing a big Buford sandwich at the manager through the drive-thru window. Then, his client went through the drive-thru window and allegedly battered the manager. It was all captured on video.  The verdict: Not Guilty! His first personal injury case was a car accident. He views car accidents as a form of battery. One car hitting (battering) another, although generally unintentional.
