Experience
Audrey has over fifteen years of legal experience in various areas of law. She focuses primarily on Appellate Law, Family Law (child support and custody, juvenile delinquency, etc.), Criminal Law and Expungement matters. She worked with the Law Office of Mark Nicholson as of counsel after starting her solo practice in 2022 before joining as junior partner in 2023.
Indiana Appellate Attorney
Audrey has done dozens of appeals, specializing in various areas including juvenile delinquency, criminal and CHINS/ TPR matters.
She has argued in front of the Indiana Supreme Court in B.K. et al., a case that has provided guidance to juvenile proceedings across Indiana.
She also recently had a case published in the Indiana Court of Appeals, In the matter of Quinisha Williams v. Willie Cardona-Feliciano, which has been a pivotal case in recognizing the need for trial courts to utilize sensitivity toward domestic violence victims.
Indiana Family Law Attorney
Throughout her career, Audrey has had a large focus on public interest law. She has extensive experience as a former Public Defender in juvenile delinquency matters and has presented before the Indiana Public Defender Counsel Continuing Legal Education Case Update for a successful juvenile delinquency matter. She has acted in the roles of a CASA and a GAL in CHINS cases.
She has worked with the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence Satellite Attorney Project to represent domestic violence survivors. She continues to handle Appellate cases for indigent clients in Hendricks County through her solo firm, Lunsford Legal, LLC.

Her time and experience throughout her career have contributed to a greater level of compassion for her clients. Audrey has translated her experience into a client-centered approach in her private practice. In addition, she has a more holistic approach by representing clients in a variety of different legal areas of law.
Education
Audrey graduated from the Honors Program at Valparaiso University School of Law in 2009. She graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice from Ball State in 2006. She was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2009. She was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana in 2025.
She is currently a member of the Indiana Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar association.

Audrey enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, two kids, her dog and her cat when not practicing law.
